"Better than we could ask or think"

We knew it was going to be a good day. Family. Our favorite beach. Bears Practice with fireworks. We didn't know it was going to be totally awesome until auntie betty won a practice jersey on a scratch off card, which meant a trip to the field for her and the jerseys.

There are always rocks for these guys to find.

Two thumbs way up - one of their favorite poses.

And they never get tired of digging giant holes.

Hidden Mickey.

On our way to Bears on the employees' bus.
Thanks, auntie betty!
Shoot, I just deleted the picture of auntie betty!

Cousins are the best friends ever, right?

This is the way we wait in line for Plinko!

And this is the way we wait for practice to begin!

a. betty put gray and gairette in her Roberto Garza jersey - HUGE cuteness factor. Everyone was snapping their picture.
Lovie!

He came over to apologize that Garza was taking so long, and then he signed gairette's hat! I told you it was better than we could have asked, and it gets even better!

Roberto Garza was so nice, he bent down to talk with the kids, autographed the jersey, the kids' hats and then he signed his gloves and gave them to gray and gairette.

If you look at it big you can see him with a. betty and the kids. Too bad so many other people were crowding around, but he kept focussing on them.

Here we are!

Better than we could have asked or thought!

Visiting the police memorial to remember a godly officer from our church who died earlier this year. We remember Al Haymaker and pray for his wife and girls.

We make the most of every minute together. Walking to the car means playing statues!

Remember I told you everyone took pictures? This one made it on to Tribune online. I can't believe that this was the cutest one, but it is still in the "paper."
