T got a call from a friend this afternoon inviting her out to dinner and for a manicure and pedicure. We were thinking a "little girl" manicure. We were wrong. T walked in with her first French manicure. Can you believe it? Al couldn't have been happier, since he loves pretty hands, and my "bitten-to-the-quick" style has been a source of disappointment for decades. Really though, tonight was a special treat from God for Tristan, since we have been telling the girls "no" to an awful lot these days since Al is not working.
