At 10:15 we were greeted by hundreds and hundreds of people lined up outside the Cubby Bear dressed in all kinds of Christmas Regalia, elves, trees, packages. Oh yeah, it was the "12 Bars of Christmas." 6,000 people participated in Chicago this year. As we read crass t-shirt after crass t-shirt, I told Jen, "This is what we were praying our kids out of." The good news is that the kids thought it was funny seeing adults dressed up so crazy.
I can't flip this picture, but it is pretty cute, and it shows that the kids get involved right from the start. While some of the kids were costuming the cast, the rest were drawing the scenery. This is g's roller coaster.
The kids participated the whole time, and the brown paper bag of popcorn Jen brought became a very important prop in the performance. Everyone was dancing on the stage at the end.
