Thanks to auntie betty, the Lourias (like other people she loves) got to go to the Auto Show. It was just another way God provided something special for us to do even though Al isn't working. It has been a good lesson for all of us.

We saw the best car within the first 10 minutes. Too bad gas guzzling extravagance isn't in, because this is an American beauty.

Saigee did 40 pefect "boy" push-ups!
Even the Army guys were impressed.

Not to be outdone, T did 53.

I made back the $5 we had to pay to get in when I played a "gameshow" at the Ford booth. The consolation prize was a gas card and a snazzy scarf!

gairette was sick. pitiful.

But nothing a $4.25 pretzel (that she wouldn't eat because it wasn't cinnamon) and a $3.50 bag of Sun Chips (+tax) couldn't solve. So it wasn't quite a .50 night, but this goofy girl was worth it.

Modelling our new SEBs
(Save the Environment Bags - Livvy and I made it up)

We spend a lot of time looking for the perfect truck for Al.

Remember my post about Tristan wanting to go to University of Chicago? This car is her tuition for four years. It happened to be her favorite, too.

This is how gairette finally ended the night, but it was so much fun. Thanks, auntie betty!
